Well, Maui is a real character! He’s a shapeshifting demigod of the wind and sea from Hawaii. He’s a hero to both men and women, and his weapon of choice is a fish hook. His adoptive family are the gods, so he’s Hawaiian through and through. Talk about an impressive guy!
Course: The race course is a challenging 10-mile loop around the island of Maui, with stunning views of the ocean and lush tropical forests.
Start/Finish Line: The start/finish line is located at the historic Kaanapali Beach Resort in Lahaina, Hawaii.
Aid Stations: There are four aid stations along the course that provide water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks to runners as they make their way around the island.
Time Limit: Participants must complete the race within six hours in order to receive an official time and be eligible for awards or prizes.
Awards Ceremony: An awards ceremony will be held at Kaanapali Beach Resort following completion of the race for all participants who finish within six hours or less.
