Hola, iam Margaret Martin, I hope you have the best day today.
Wow, organs live! It’s amazing how our bodies are made up of so many different parts that all work together to keep us alive and healthy. From the heart to the lungs, each organ plays an important role in keeping us going. But did you know that some organs can actually live outside of the body? That’s right - with advances in medical technology, certain organs can be transplanted from one person to another and continue living! It’s incredible what science has been able to do - talk about a lifesaver!
What Organs Can You Live Without? [Solved]
Wow! You won’t believe how much you can lose and still be okay. Believe it or not, you can still lead a pretty normal life without one of your lungs, a kidney, your spleen, appendix, gall bladder, adenoids, tonsils and some of your lymph nodes - plus the fibula bones from each leg and six of your ribs. Crazy right?
- Heart: The heart is a muscular organ that pumps blood throughout the body.
- Lungs: The lungs are two spongy organs located in the chest cavity that take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide.
- Liver: The liver is a large organ located in the upper right side of the abdomen that helps to filter toxins from the body.
- Kidneys: The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs located near the middle of your back, just below your rib cage. They help to filter waste products from your blood and excrete them as urine.
- Pancreas: The pancreas is an organ located behind your stomach that produces hormones and enzymes necessary for digestion.
Organs live inside our bodies, keeping us ticking! They’re essential for our survival, and without them we’d be in a real pickle. Our hearts pump blood, lungs take in oxygen, livers filter toxins - they all work together to keep us alive and well. So let’s give ’em a pat on the back!
