Hi, iam Jackie Cole, I hope today is better than yesterday.
Oh man, talk about an unethical situation! My friend’s doctor is really taking advantage of her. She’s been a patient for years, but lately he’s been charging her for services that she never received. It’s totally wrong and I’m so frustrated! I mean, what kind of doctor does that? It just goes to show you can’t trust everyone.
Is It Unethical For A Doctor To Be Friends With A Patient? [Solved]
It’s a no-brainer: the AMA says don’t treat yourself or your fam, and that includes your buddies too. After all, the same reasons for not treating family members apply to friends.
Unethical Doctor: A doctor who does not adhere to the ethical standards of the medical profession, such as by providing substandard care or engaging in fraudulent activities.
Friends: People who are close and supportive of one another, often sharing common interests and experiences.
Patient: An individual receiving medical care from a doctor or other healthcare provider for an illness or injury.
It’s a real bummer when you find out your doctor is being unethical with their patients. It’s like finding out one of your friends has been lying to you - it just doesn’t sit right. Ugh, it’s so wrong for a doctor to take advantage of someone who trusts them! It makes me sick to think about it.
