Hi, iam Jackie Cole, I hope today is better than yesterday.

Oh man, talk about an unethical situation! My friend’s doctor is really taking advantage of her. She’s been a patient for years, but lately he’s been charging her for services that she never received. It’s totally wrong and I’m so frustrated! I mean, what kind of doctor does that? It just goes to show you can’t trust everyone.

Is It Unethical For A Doctor To Be Friends With A Patient? [Solved]

It’s a no-brainer: the AMA says don’t treat yourself or your fam, and that includes your buddies too. After all, the same reasons for not treating family members apply to friends.

  1. Unethical Doctor: A doctor who does not adhere to the ethical standards of the medical profession, such as by providing substandard care or engaging in fraudulent activities.

  2. Friends: People who are close and supportive of one another, often sharing common interests and experiences.

  3. Patient: An individual receiving medical care from a doctor or other healthcare provider for an illness or injury.

It’s a real bummer when you find out your doctor is being unethical with their patients. It’s like finding out one of your friends has been lying to you - it just doesn’t sit right. Ugh, it’s so wrong for a doctor to take advantage of someone who trusts them! It makes me sick to think about it.
